Most people around here driving PT's are old people. Waving and trying to get there attention might make them get into a accident.

Personally, I do. But everytime I wave at another, flash another, they don't seem to be paying attention or are just ignoring me!

Whatever though, No big deal. As dicePT said, maybe 10yrs after the last one is made it would be more of something special. BUT IM STILL DOING IT NOW!!

Not sure about other "PT ppl" but my wife and I some how got started into a game of PT punch, (just like punch bug) every time we see a PT one pop's the other (not a hard punch of course)...

Kinda strange I know, but it passes the time when on a drive to the same old same old... and we only do it when we are alone, if we have others in the car, we drop it (dont want to let everyone in on the fun )

Hummm.. With so many Chrysler people/retirees in the Detroit area I would probably be waving/flashing/beeping all the way to work (from the 'burbs to downtown Detroit) and would most likely get pulled over by the Detroit Police as a possible drug user <G>
I remember back in the late 60's when I had a motorcycle all the bikers would wave..(except for some of the Harley guys who didn't consider a Honda CB-350 a real bike).. And early 70's I had about 3 waves in my Renault Caravelle roadster (I only SAW 3 other Caravelles on the road!...fun car until the frame rusted out from under it) And about 10 years back I had a old Triumph Spitfire and would share waves with other Spits.. I do kinda miss those days... I will wave back if someone waves first though!

Nice idea in general, but the flashing-lights and horn-blowing parts probably are better skipped: too many crazy/distracted/oblivious drivers around here!

But I've always done a smile-and-nod thing to other Cruiser drivers when it's safe; maybe I'll try adding a wave, see if it starts anything.

Haha. I was actually on the interstate with a friend, and we got right next to a PT just like mine and the people in the other car were just smiling and waving us and my friend goes "what are they so happy about?" I just said "Its a PT thing." It was hilarious. And now he waves at people in PT's even in his 88' Oldsmobile.
