Talking Howdy, I'm new! :)
Howdy, y'all! I'm Kat, and am a brand-new PT Cruiser owner as of yesterday. Was lucky enough to be able to get a purty new 2008 Inferno Red PT Cruiser and am a very happy camper. Admitedly, I'm not much of a "car person" (Much more into motorcycles, actually, but don't own one...yet!), but since I have a PT now, I figured it would be fun to get to know others that do, as well. My hubby has always wanted one, and now that we actually have one, I've grown really fond of it, as well.

Soo.... hello out there! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

MamaKat, you'all welcome to the Forum. I hope you realize that this is a very expensive "toy" you just bought. Once you see some of the MODS that others have done, you'll know. www.raceandstreet.com is a great place to start!!

Welcome to the forum. It's nice to meet a new owner who always wanted a PT and went out and bought a new one. Usually, it's a new owner who bought a used one and found the forum to fix a problem. Enjoy your ride.

Welcome to the forums. You will find a lot of help if needed on here and also some pretty neat modifications you can do to your PT Cruiser if need be.

Welcome I agree nice to welcome a new member....INFERNO RED is the best colour out there. My wife had a 1998 green Saturn SW2 which we quite liked...quite practical. However, she ran into a pole and totalled it. I was quite upset but understanding that accidents happen. However, the insurance paid us probably more than we would have got...5000$. It had 160000km on it, and really was quite plain. We ended up getting an unbelievable deal on a 2003 INFERNO GT Turbo with 36000KM from a one owner mature lady. We ended up getting a car with:warranty, turbo,chrome wheels, red paint, 6CD player, power windows and locks,120000 less km etc Also I feel alot prouder driving it and their is so much in terms of accessories for it. Not to mention clubs websites etc... I look at that car every day since getting it last Sept I cant wipe the smileoff my face. Kids at my son's school say COOL CAR! I tell my wife often " I AM SO GLAD YOU HIT THAT POLE>>>>I LOVE THIS CAR!" There are about 2000 items on ebay for the PT...Hmmmm? I wonder how many things on ebay for a green Saturn staion wagon to make it look cool....Lets see...I will let you know
