Question Selinoid pack gasket leak?

I posted earlier ReTransmission leak) and no responses. After further investigation, I'm finding out that this is a common problem in the PT's. Will having the selinoid pack gasket replaced stop this, or am I facing secondary issues? This is my first PT (2002) that I just purchased 2 weeks ago and already replaced both lower control arms and the Watts linkage. Are there anymore potential problems that I should be aware of ? I am impressed with the hwy mileage. I just drove 500 miles round trip and got 29.7 mpg. (GREAT) Thank you.

When my 02 solenoid pack started leaking, Chrysler, under warrenty, replaced it as a unit. I don't know if they could've gotten away with just changing a gasket.

I don't remember the mileage, just that later on I traded in the car with 60k on it.

You might want to flush and put a new filter in the transmission. Being an 02 I'm sure it can't be a bad idea.

Good luck!

Your Lower Control Arm bushings, the sway bar link (in the back) are common fixes on the PT.

29.7MPG...Jeezum. How fast were you 'Cruising'? Im on the interstate 95% of the time and get MAYBE 20MPG.

I had to replace the entire selinoid pack today, due to the outside gasket as well an the upper gasket. $289 parts and labor (WOW). It's just one of those items that cant be ignored. Thanks to everyone for your input.
