Did you open the01-04cptc.pdf file? That sounds like you hit the .exe file instead or did you still have the Obsidian program open? Try this, make sure the program is closed and go into the \additional\data folder and make sure you're opening the 01-04cpct.pdf file. This should bypass the Obsidian .exe file altogether and just open the file in Acrobat. Let me know if this doesn't work.

That did it! I was opening the wrong file and pdf worked like a charm

The EXE should open the PDF. The PDF is just a big file it takes a few seconds for it to load. I will admit that the program is a bit buggy but it works!

This is the owners manual that came with the car, unfortunately.
I am in the same boat. I am trying to find a manual for a 2007, so I can make my husband work on my PT. As for right now, he has an honest excuse for not helping me with my vehicle. Since neither of us knows how to work on it.

I can open this by right clicking and opening with Adobe reader but with Foxit reader I get a password required dialogue, any reason why and does anyone have the password?
