Carbon dioxide (CO2) levels for 06-07 PT Cruisers?

Anyone knows what are the CO2 levels for the 2007 and 2007 PT Cruisers, GT excluded? I can't find this information anywhere on the Chrysler website. Isn't it supposed to be somewhere in the car specifications? I need to know CO2 emission per mile.

I need this info because I will have to register a 2006 or 2007 PT in Europe, and some European countries tax cars according to CO2 emission levels. I don't expect it to be cheap, but I wouldn't want to go bankrupt, you know....

hiya mate ...this is from the chrysler UK website....
2.4 manual.....223 g/km
2.4 auto.........240 g/km

After reading those specs, I am more puzzled than ever. It looks like the specifications of the 2.4 in what regards fuel consumption is hugely different from the USA specs, 34 mpg in the UK vs. 26 mpg in the US.

It's the same car? The UK version has a different catalytic converter? Why this difference?

I just saw that US Environment Protection Agency states a 320 gr/kilometer of CO2 for a US PT Cruiser, compared to the 240 grams in the UK. So, it's the same car after all, or just different calculation procedures?

one UK gallon is equal to 1.2 US gallon....see conversion chart below....the UK gallon is bigger than the US gallon so you would travel further on one gallon....chris
