Question Radiator replacement. "Difficult??"

How hard is it to replace the radiator in my 2002? The garages want an astronomical price?

I bought the Haynes repair manual for my '01 PT after a nasty collision with an animal ruined my front bumper and radiator and it is indeed tough. how much are they asking, if you don't mind me asking?

Radiator prices range from $158.00 to $259.00 from local auto parts stores. Garages want $325.00 to $450 for the job. The job doesnt look too difficult, but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot.

It took me about a day to do mine. Best bet is to set aside a weekend where you don't need the car and get the Haynes repair manual! I would recommend that to anyone who ever works on their PT, custom or not. It is mostly just unbolting and re-bolting parts. I will say that I skipped a few steps in the manual to save time though. If those prices included the radiator price, then they arent too bad. If not... that is kind of steep.
