How can I disable the horn/toot when i push "lock"

Same problem with SOOO BIG, 2005 PT. I've solved it as a "none problem". Instead of using the remote to lock when getting out of the car, I press the electric door lock switch on the drivers door to lock up. This securely locks all the doors and hatch for the evening, quietly with out the blare of the horn. I then close the door. That's how it's done!!! Maybe this is too simple a solution but it works for me.

Before you start with step 1 did you close all the doors?
