Thats the frustrating part..I love my PT but Chrysler took a great concept and failed to fully utilize it. The poorly engineered parts and less than impressive gas mileage prevent the PT from becoming a challenger to all the overseas imports. I cringe when someones say "I bet you get great gas mileage with your Cruiser" and I have to answer "ummm...well...a little better than my Grand Caravan..."
Saddest words...what could have been...

Everyone is always like "lets take your car because it gets better gas mileage than my car".

No. The stalk haas a small, minute wire that only supplys a fraction of a watt to turn on a relay. Your relay will see more power draw. If your relay is rated to tolerate the extra current draw then you should be OK. But the stalk has no play in the matter.

If you don't mind me asking then why is the contact for the fog light, that is inside the stalk, burning out with the original fog lights in place? No extra current draw than what was intended with the OEM fogs.

So my Xenon, "No Extra Wattage", lights are causing the problem??

The package mentions it won't burn out any wires, it uses the same wattage as factory bulbs.

Idunnow. Might have something to do with the parts being made in Mexico to save a buck.

DId you ever do that workaround for the foglights...I have the same problem and would rather have a seperate switch for my fogs...

That's the best shot , I did it on my headlights too..Took a little while but it really brightened the headlights by nearly 2 volts..used separate feed for each side on the headlights protected with a autoreset breaker for each side..Much more redundancy....used 4 individual relays for the lights and 1 common relay for the fog lights....
