Default Leaky Sunroof

I did a search but was not able to find what I am looking for.

The passenger front side of my 02 sunroof is leaking. The leak seems to be at the right at the right front corner. I think that most likely it is a clogged drain as there is no leaking on the drivers side.

Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed in diagnosing the problem and fixing it?

Thanks in advance.

Are your seals good/worthy enough to hold out rain? Maybe a tear in the seals??

It's either the drain or the seal. If if drips in a slow rain, it's probably the drain. If it only leaks in heavy rain, then a seal would be main culprit.

drain. a little compressed air will clear the clog. 35 psi is plenty.

I checked the drain. It may have been partially blocked as it was draining some and then there was a gurgling noise and it started draining at a much faster rate.

The seal looks good. It is still soft with no visible tears. Both the passenger side that leaks and the drivers side which haven't leaked look to be in the same condition.

It has only leaked in heavy rain. But perhaps this was due to a partially blocked drain.

What is the best way to test the seal, turning a hose on it? And how much if any water should get past the seal when hosed? Should it be totally dry or is a small amount of water that the drain can handle to be expected?

Thanks for all the advice so far. It has been very helpful and informative.

I am becoming resigned to the fact that I have a bad seal.

Has anyone replaced one? Is it a DIY or should I bring it to a glass shop? And what should I expect to pay at a shop?
