remote keyless entry programming
Hi, I am new to this site. I hope someone can help me out. I have a key fob for the alarm and entry into my 2002 PT. It quick working awhile back. I replaced the batteries and tried the reprogramming advice I found here. No luck...I can't get any beep or signal after the 10 seconds. Any ideas???...Thanks

Welcome, Ray.
Could be the RKEM - Remote Keyless Entry Module - crapped out. It's behind the radio. Usually it goes beserk before it dies. Try a search on RKEM.

Thanks for the info...no it didn't go beserk, just quit working. Thought it might just be dead batteries in the remote...no such luck.
