Wife cannot get into reverse
Wife calls me up and states that she cannot get into reverse. I research this and find out the the shift cable bushings are probably bad. I find some aftermarket replacements (since Dodge does not offer an OEM bushing) called Booger Bushings but I cannot wait a couple of days to get them in. I searched on Advanced Auto and come up with this:
While we find your parts, please enter your ZIP Code at PartsAmerica.com This looks like it would work until I get the booger bushings... Anyone have any feedback on the above Dorman Linkage bushings??? Thanks

well the reverse linkage bushing (under fuse panel bracket) was LONG GONE!!!!! The Dorman insert fit right in and now reverse is a part of my ole lady's life again. The Forward bushing Grommet was there but rounded a bit. The Dorman bushings did not fit right on the forward gear cable stud, so Booger Bushings will be coming shortly.
