Yea that is what I always do besides the pictures and receipt... just put it on for court and usually they will send an officer out to look at your car to make sure... then take it off afterwards.... but most of the time they dont write u up for that little stuff anyway, they just tell u to put get a front plate on theier specially if you play dumb with the cop....

Yeah. Roselle cops are always all over Lake and Irving Park. Not a particulary pompus town .... just the cops in that instance. I don't know what Roselle cop's problem is. Luckily, I usually never have had any reason to go there except the sports bar I used to like to go to which was over on Irving Park close to the Ford dealership.

He's only "whining" about it, because most cops don't care that you have that stuff added to your car, but one cop obviously DID care.

You can't tell me you've never broken a law.

Ohh Im sure ur soo perfect when it comes to laws...If you live in Illinois you can talk, otherwise you cant.... if like your car is custom...9 times out of 10 youre going to have some things on it thats illegal... but if your car is STOCK I guess YOU r safe and YOU dont break the laws then....

Illinois is certainly a crazy place when it comes to automotove law...
How can a state revoke the motorcycle helmet law at the same time as enforcing the front seat belt law in cars!

Don't wear a seat belt, don't wear a helmet... the first can land you in court for breaking the law... the second will eventually land you in the morgue... but you won't be breaking the law!
