The reason I ask if the touch up paint will work is because the guys I asked at autozone said it may flake off when it gets hot. True? This is pretty much what you guys are using correct?

How did you take these out ? I'm always afraid of breaking something or not being able to put it back together

Idk about these parts specifically but ive found pretty much all parts im my 01 are just clips and if you pull them and they got a little give you can just pull em off. If theres no give, look for screws than try again lol probably not the best way but it works

Anyone have success ripping them off yet ? I'm not touching the door sills until I know what they are held on with. They don't budge at all.

Yeah I'm not a fan of pulling something till it rips off and then finding out how it was held down

Front ones...All you gotta do is use a flathead screwdriver where u have something on the tip to protect the paint and stick it under one end to pry it up just enough to get ur fingers under it and just yank up, they will just snap off slowly, the plastic snap clips are molded under it(front/middle/back) so its almost impossible to break them.

The rear ones... there is only 1 clip which is at the top. you have to be very careful because the the clip is fragile. just take a small flathead screwdriver and pry it out slowly from the top edge directly in the middle where the clip is holding it down. make sure u cover the tip of the screwdriver with something so u dont scratch the paint... Pretty easy tho but i was nervous just like you guys at first, just take your time.
