Default What does pt stand for?

I have only had my car for about 4 weeks and today as I was getting out to got into a gas station a lady ask me what does pt stand for and i had no idea so I was just wondering what it means. so next time I dont look so stupid when I get asked that question

There are many phrases for it, Personal Transportation, Plymouth Tombstone. I'm sure you will get a few others

I ended up asking my dealer, who said Personal Transportation; another one you'll hear is Platform Tall: supposedly based on the same platform as the Neon. I dunno 'bout that, so I tell people it's for 'Perfectly Terrific!'

Plymouth Truck--it was originally intended to be a Plymouth, then Plymouth folded and the Cruiser went to Chrysler.

Guess what my wife answers when asked that... her ititials happen to be PT? She at times reminds me of the same.
