it also depends on how you drive it.

when i did my math on my SRT i was holding an average speed of 90-95mph for 200mi and then i filled up.

and divided the num of miles by num of gals.

I probally would have got more MPG if i was going the speed limit.

my wifes car was all city miles when i did her mileage.

Cool Re: gas mileage

So far our 2007 is getting about 17 to the gallon if we're lucky but I will be in the process of tearing out the stock plugs and wires (since the factory stuff is junk) and put a K&N drop in filter. It's still under warranty till feb of 09 so the more progresive filter like the AIRRAID cone will replace our filter box after that to not void our warranty. The mileage should go up. Everyone who has done this to thiers have a change in gas and a better running engine. People on this forum seem to say the same thing. I'm crossing my fingers of course!

Cool Re: gas mileage

Got the AirRaid Intake system on the NA 2006 soonercruiser. Even asked my dealer/service rep - no problem with warranty with that minor mod.

Have had a AirRaid on ever since they came out with one that would fit the 2006. Haven't had any warranty problems at all. It will go on the new 2008 when I get it.

Like Crewzin said, that's pretty much common knowledge....lol.

Some people may say that I am a little anal, but I have kept track of my gas mileage since I bought my car '05 Vert TE brand new last year. It only has about 8500 kms. or 5000 miles on it but I can tell you how much every tank of gas has cost me, the gas mileage, cost of operating etc....

How do I do this you ask, very simple...I created an Excel spreadsheat that will do this for me at each fill. I live in Canada so I buy my gas by the liter, drive by the kilometer etc. but in my spreadsheat I can tell you how many miles to the gallon (imperial) or US I get. If anyone is interested, I can post what it looks like.

Regards
Terry
