Where is the voltage regulator? inside the alternator or inside the ECU? My model is 2003 touring edition.

That is common failure on the PT's? The only way is replacing the entire PCM? How much a PCM????

The only way is replacing the entire PCM? Seems that way, YES. A lot of vehicles have the same set-up.

How much a PCM???? Not sure. Check with your local dealer and a couple auto parts places.

what problem are you having exactly, and what leads you to believe that it is the voltage regulator to be the problem?
