Maybe you turbo guys do (100 MPH) it all the time...but up here in IL there's too many cops around to that very often! Last time I did it was on a 56 mile stretch of I-43 from Beloit WI to Milwaukee WI. I ran her hard (at or above 100) for 5-10 miles, RPM's were above 4 grand. It was fun because traffic was wide open, temp. was in the 30's w/plenty of cold air for power. I covered the 56 miles in just under 40 minutes.

Shocked the hell out of the wife getting home WAAAY before she thought I would! *laughs*

That's funny. I find that knowing my turbo cars will go extremely fast (they're modified) the more I drive normal. Once in a while I'll have a speed spurt, but that is out in the boonies where I live.

Funny that. I drive "normal" with my Vette most of the time and more aggressive with my PT.

That's because, like my SRT-4, you know your Vette is extemely fast and you don't have to prove to yourself or anyone else that it is. I drive like a grandpa when I drive my wife's na PT.

Thanks Crewzin! With your explanation above you have validated EXACTLY what I planned on doing. I haven't decided yet between the Borla, Dynomax, or Magnaflow mufflers yet, but if I go with cost as my deciding factor it will be a Dynomax for sure!
