That 'thimble' they call a gas tank! What's it hold maybe 13 gallons? Now granted the last time I check I'm getting about 26 mpg, or over 250 miles between fills, but still!

It holds 15 gallons. At 250 miles you aren't getting 26 mpg.

Maybe he meant 16!
Getting 250miles out of a full tank DOES equal ~16mpg. Which isn't out of the norm for a PT!

It was a lame attempt at some humor.
But the last time I checked, which was about a year ago on a 4 hour trip, I did get 26 mpg. I would really have been disappointed at 16 mpg because my Chevy C1500 w/a tow package gets 15 city. Thanks for the replies! |
