Man, you guys should feel mine. The fat tires and 2.5" drop make it hug the road so beautifully at any speed! My friend has an Xterra, all i can say is that for off road, its great! But on road... *shivers*

Yeah...Lets just say I pulled a maneuver that got him to get off my ass...The interstate merged to 2 lanes from 3, and there was a slow guy driving in the left lane (who woulda thought) so I got up to the slow guy with the Nissan less than a car length away from me in the lane that was merging, as i got over to the empty lane, the nissan tried to follow me around the slow car, and I slammed on my brakes to maintain speed with the slow car......Luckily the Xterra stopped and swerved off the road a little avoid me and the slow car, lol. Ends up, we got off at the same exit

Yeah, we have I-75 here. I doubt you'd want to drive all the way down from Detroit to see me though! I sure as anything couldn't justify that drive... That Xterra REALLY shouldn't be going at those speeds! such a tall car on skinny tires... man.

There ya go! Though I wouldn't trust half of the drivers in my area on that! There is a car that has gone out of control and across three lanes of oncoming traffic, jumped a ditch (clean over it!) and is stuck in a chain link fence... His skid marks start in the far lane on his side of the road! he clipped a curb.

i read somewhere that the autobahn has less accidents per mile per capita than the us interstates. people over there know their limits. people here don't because they arent allowed to find them out.

True dat...and they have strict rules...like passing is only allowed on the LEFT side...no riding in the fast lane (far left lane)!!!!! Pass and then GET OVER! These basic principles are just not followed and understood here. If they were, it would be a lot less traffic!!!!

Exactly. The drive back from Orlando (and to Orlando) is terrible with that. people doing 65 in all 3 lanes when the speed limit is 70 and no one will move! In England, seeing people drive is like watching a machine! Everyone drives like a rally driver on all the twisty roads. It all seems rehearsed!

I wish to one day live in a society where people didn't use the left lane as a permanent driving lane

I-75 is soo long. I take it up north about 2.5hrs north and it still goes. and I think it goes all the way to Miami??

Crazy stuff.

US 1-75: Your right about it being long but wrong on a couple points; It goes down the western side of Florida (near me) all the way to Naples, about 200 miles short of the end of Florida BUT it goes all the way NORTH till it reaches Canada.
