Default How to remove rear window controls?

2005 hardtop... How can I remove the rear window controls? Do they pop out from the top, or do I need to remove the entire console?

Back seats will be more or less permanently removed, so don't want cargo to shift and land on the controls, and/or dirt water etc to get into them and potentially cause problems.

Just use a small flat blade screwdriver to pop them free from the top.

Thanks - just what I needed to know. Didn't want to start prying and then find out later that there was a screw etc on the other side securing it.

Yeah, they are not held in really tight. I can't get a real good grip on mine so i just use a screwdriver and am careful not to scratch it.
