In the first picture, it is the thin red trim that was placed in the slight openings all over the PT. You can see it on the front door, around the air bag cover etc.

I have been kicking around the idea of the Welting, but just can not come up with what color to use. I have a Black Woodie with the Pewter trim on the dash. I have just added orange LEDS inside the PT also. What color do you think would work?

Look up Mr. Mike's, they've got a million colors of the stuff, as well as lots of pics with it in place, which might help you chose your color and placement options!

Making the welting look clean.....
What I did was make the joints as closed as I could, then use a fast set epoxy, in multiplt icrements to fill the joint; then use a matching paint to make the joints look fused. PT Cruiser World
