Default Re: Wet traction

Put new General UHP tires (well rated for wet at Tire Rack and a good bargain at $68) on. Drove in a huge summer thunderstorm and the car handled flawlessly. Turns out my problem was totally the original Goodyears!
Thanks everyone for responses, thought you might like to know the resolution.

I would not have looked at Generals, prefer Sumitumo or Kumho for bargain tires, but hese are really very good!
