Default Browsing thru Flea-Bay

Just cruising thru Flea-Bay in the auto section to see what's new under the PT Cruiser section.

Someone selling the air-intake for a non-turbo but what really caught my eye was the great condition of the rest of the engine.

You know I actually saw this item a few days ago myself! The price caught my attention, I figured it would be a REAL PT kit. Not some generic one... Man... that poor PT

Not sure what you mean by a "real PT kit" because as long as it fits, it's real. You do want to make sure the diameter of the intake tube matches the Throttle Body input so your not restricting air flow. I have almost the same thing, the only difference is a washable air filter that can be used over and over. All of the cheaper ones use a throw-away filter.

I know anyone on the forum into speed will tell you mine sucks up the hot engine air but I noticed a difference as soon as I put it on. No hesitation from take-off and that was good enough for me besides I wanted something to dress up the engine bay and match the existing theme/colors.

I love my Intake too, It gives me a little roar when I press the throttle and i can tell a little pickup in acceleration from before.....

Carey, what kind of cold air intake do you have installed.

How about you too, Jon?

Mine was called "The Intimidator" but it's basically the same as the cheaper ones you see on eBay except for the filter, so you could buy the cheaper one and throw on a reusable (colored to match) filter that's washable and save your self money.

APC isn't bad on a lot of their stuff, but they did have a lot of problems with PT tail lights.
