So my fog lights turn on when i activate the right turn signal, the fog lights go off when I push on the switch.
The multi-switch is indeed going bad, my car is under warranty, and I am mechanic savvy. Should I go to the dealer and pay $100 deductible to have it replaced, or should I purchase the switch my self and replace it? Where can I find the multi-switch for a 2001 with fog lights?

Mine burnt out. Looks like you have the aftermarket blue bulbs, they did it to mine too.
Let me know what you decide to do. I also have a 2001.

On a quick search I only found one for about $75 without shipping charges. You'll still save yourself a few dollars by doing it yourself.
eBay only has one, but it doesn't have the fog lights control. PT Cruiser Multifunction Switch

that sounds pretty good but I need the foglight switch. I have until November or something to have it replaced but until then I guess I will leave it alone.
In response to the blue lights, they are only LEDs and are on a separate circuit and switch. let's just hope the switch holds up for functionality for awhile.

UPDATE!!
I bought a brand new multiswitch with fog lights for $75 shipped! It installed so easy! Everything is working now, and the switch feels like a brand new car... Question: Would it be worth it to sell the multi-switch for cheap to someone who does not have fog lights, but their switch is damaged? Everything works properly in the switch except it activated the fog lights at random times. Would this part fit in a cruiser without fog lights? (wiring harness)

Take it apart and see if you can find out exactly what burnt out or fused together to cause it to malfunction. MX-5 (Mike) did take it apart and showed those that were on the forums at that time (about 2 years ago) how cheaply the part was made and why it burnt out but I can't remember if he had or could see a way that it could be fixed.

First off,
I would never sell a part that is known defective without someone knowing that it is defective. I guess you are right, it could be a bad idea because the electrical components could cause a fire. time to gut it!

I agree with BLUEWATER!
All things considered; I'd pay the $100 and have the security of knowing it's "still covered"! -you'll have plenty of chances to "do it yourself"! later.
