Deer 1 PT 0

OWWWW! first post was going to be about how I've just gotten the PT away from my wife and what kind of performance ideas do you recommend...then this happened:
you can't tell but the passenger door will not open, windsheild is cracked, bumper is completly away from fenders on both sides, a mess!!

Ouchie!!! How did this happen???? What year is it?

I know personally what kind of damage a deer can do. You actually got off lucky. The insurance will make it as good as new.

This guy wasn't so lucky.

Man, I can understand this. My dad was in his 1983 Jeep Wrangler CJ7, driving on a long stretch of highway (at night) when he hit a cow's head.......just the head now...and it ruined his grill and the hood was bent!!!

While driving the hood unlatched and flew back and was covering his windshield!!! He had to stick his head out of the window to stay within his lane. He eventually got off the highway and was met by three other motorists who hit the same cow!!!! It got out of the field...they had to put it out of its misery.

This happened years ago and he could've been hurt....thank the Lord he wasn't.

This is a 2002 PT, this happened about 1 mile from my house on my way to work, this is what I get for living in the "Deer Capital" of Illinois, I did not see the deer after I hit it, as it was thrown from the inpact into the field

I am hoping to have it up and running like new.

I said I knew personally and I mean personally. I hit a deer in my 88 Chevy Z24. My wife hit a deer in her 2001 Chevy Geo and my son hit one in his 88 Mustang GT. This was back in Maryland.


Up in Canada, they have problems with Moose. You think a deer is bad, these baby's weight a heck of lot more.

Man!!!!! It peeled the top of that car back like a can opener!!!!
