new owner, need help

ok heres the story,
wifes car broke down, traded my truck for a 03 limited black PTall options

its n/a, chrome wheels, 63k odo

- rear tires are really noisy 30-55mph.
- fog lights turn on when parked, at any time, switch lever seems to have bad connection.
- with the a/c on at idle the a/c clutch or belt locks up, smokes and makes a bad noise, havent done it when im under the hood yet to see which it is,
- power mirror switch dont work at all, worked once when buying but thought it was no big deal
- have heard a few light clunks from the front end during cornering etc
- idle is a bit rough and drops when a/c kicks on, seems to have a good amount of drag.

wife loves the car
i like it, pay for it, and paid 10,3 otd after my trade(w/neg equity)

had it 3 days now, saposed to have 14day give back warr. from auction the dealer got it through, but as said wife loves it, so giving back wont be a good thing w/ her, took me 2 weeks to find and work out the deal... to make her happy.

Welcome to the forum. I don't have time to go into all the things you might have wrong with your cruiser as you've described but why not make the list you told us about and have the dealer fix them before your 14 days are up. You don't know how the previous owner treated your PT before you but sounds like they got rid of it before it got too bad for them to handle.

Power mirror electrical fault (doesn't work)
Multifunction switch fault (fog lights)
Air-conditioning fault (smoke and makes noise)
Front suspension fault (knocking sound)
Engine needs plugs and wires (idle rough)

Some of these could be minor and some sound like hundreds of dollars worth of work.

Sounds like, bad MF switch, front bushings etc. Looks like $759-$1000 to fix.

Is there a 30 day warranty on the PT, if so, drive it to the dealer for the fix, B 4 it costs you.

If the dealer fixes it all, okay but...I would return it if not. I think you are looking at between $1000 to $2000 in repairs, depending on what is wrong with the AC.
