I need to replace my watts link. I called a local dealership who said they had the whole thing in stock. Unfortunately when i got home and opened the box it was only the bell crank.
Anyone know the part numbers for the actual links or maybe the whole thing? cheers. |

Since the arms are over 2 feet long, didn't the small box give a clue that only the bell crank was included?
Normally, only the bell crank is replaced. I've done dozens of them at my shop. The ONLY time the arms were replaced was when another shop butchered up a job they weren't trained to perform. I was the specialist brought in to fix their mistake. #4656466AD, and # 4656467AD are the arms. The ends that look like tie rods DO NOT come without the entire arms. |

thanks!!! I am replacing the arms for two reasons:
1. they are rusted to hell. Thanks to Canadian winters. 2. I do not have the special tool the repair maunal calls for to remove the links ball joint from the bell crank. cheers! |

i use a gear puller for this or if you have a c clamp and a large socket you can use that as well the tools will be cheaper than a new one get some rust over primer rattle can paint and paint it as long as there are no holes in it from rust you will be fine

Hi- Ineed the drivers side link in the back at the Bell Watts Linkage.
The end has like a "tie rod" threaded on It is threaded on this arm (bolted near the wheel w/ bushing at one end ) , this link is bad and I could use a source? Can I get Just the Link? I can't seem to locate just a link. I had it off the other day and couldn't spin off the "tie-rod end link", When I get more time and a torch I would try to do just this link... but. In this post I see a pn 4656466AD but when I checked with dealer it was the costly whole arm with bushing, Is that the only way to go? D~ |
