Weird Problem *UPDATED*
This has happened to me two different times now so I'm getting worried. I'll drive my car and when the engine is idle (stop sign, stop light, in park) the battery light will flash but once I start moving again it goes off. I'm fairly sure it's not the battery because I replaced it last winter. Does anyone have any ideas I'm thinking maybe it's the alternator or a short somewhere?
--------------------------- I took it to service and they claimed it was the alternator, $700 later while driving the car home both the battery and airbag lights went back on so I have to take it back AGAIN tomorrow... Last edited by JoeyC33; 06 Aug 2008 at 05:16 pm.

Good chance it is the alternator, but just stop into an auto store like Auto Zone or a Battery store and they can check it out for free and let you know exactly what it is.

There is a flash available for this problem. Take it too your dealership and have them flash the PCM.

Most likely related. Low voltage makes computers do weird things.
