Hi guys,
My name is Joe and I am currently looking into getting a PT cruiser. I am looking for a non-turbo one and was wondering what do you guys think of it and if there's any problem that I should look out for if I do get the car. Any advice would help! Thanks! |

If you're looking into New - Well everything should be okay...Warranty is always an excellent option.
If you're looking into USED - Have a mechanic look at the lower control arm bushings/wheel bearings. They tend to have a very poor lifespan on the PT Cruiser. That's just to coat the surface of things to look for. Good luck in finding your PT, and be sure to come back and show off your ride!

Joe,
Plenty of cruisers out there for sale. As Ucantcme said, there's a difference in buying new or used so let us know what your in the market for. What are your expectations. Good mileage, trouble free, low initial outlay or all of the above.

What is your purpose for buying this car? Looks, Fun, utility, price, features, gas mileage, reliability, is this going to be your only car, or will it be a second? Let us know why you are considering a PT and we can better help you.

touge,
Agree wth Ironman's questions as part of the decision process. If you decide to get a base model for the mileage; don't ever drive a turbo - you might shoot yourself! ![]()
