I need battery help
Ok I had a shitty day...My central vacuum in my house died....need a new one...$$$$.......my furnace motor died I need a new one.....$$$$$....I got my PT cruiser checked...the battery needed replacing$$....Now...I figured out how to replace my taillight bulbs$...but can someone PLEASE tell me how to get the old battery out???? It is jammed in the fender with the Airbox jammed against it. Their is a rod over it ...how do I get it off?

Take it to Advance Auto or equivalent and let them do it, you'll prolly get the battery there anyways.

Take the airbox out. There are 2 pegs underneath the airbox that fit into 2 grommets. Take the top part covering the air filter off then grab the airbox sides and wiggle it a little while pulling up. Should come right out. Now that works unless the airbox of a '03 turbo is totally different than an '02 but I bet they are the same.
