Unhappy 2007 PT Cruiser -- How to Clean Seats

HI. My 2007 PT Cruiser's seats seem to show everything. They look filthy though there have not been any real spills on them. One of my son's sneezed on one and they have gotten wet from the rain. As a result there are ugly spots that I have not been able to get out. I love my cruiser -- except for the seats. Any suggestions on how to keep them looking like new?

Thanks.

Default Re: 2007 PT Cruiser -- How to Clean Seats

I posted previously (earlier this year) about this too. My 2006 was brand new when I bought it in February this year and even rain spotted the seats. I cleaned them real well and purchased seat covers for the front at Walmart. I clipped and hemmed the hole where the seat belt receiver is as it would bunch there and now the covers fit smoothly. They're the same color as the seats and I feel more at ease about them being covered. I lay the back seat down too much to put a cover on it so I bought a throw the same color and keep it on it. I'm happy with it and if I need to take them off for special occasion I have very nice clean seats. Would love to get them recovered in leather but can't afford it. So I'm happy with my solution, it works for me.
