LOL Aw, well it is only Sept 24th/25th....Why not keep it out a little while longer till it really gets cold, then park it before the first snow/ice...

Probably easier now that it's done and over with though. I'll be doing the same for mine but not till Late October.

Hey carey,

I know how ya feel! I did my flames back in late June, and my ride was in the shop in a million pieces for about a month. Then I had it home for two weeks before it went back in for my stereo rework, and all the rest of my current projects, and have only gotten to see it once in over two months now. Its scheduled to be done, and delivered back to me on Oct. 14th, and the wait is killing me! After this, I'm gonna keep her home for a few months and try to hit a few local shows before it goes back in to finish up a few last things just in time for the 2009 PT River Run in March.

Those withdrawals are pretty tough, but just keep telling yourself, it will all be over soon, and your ride will be back where it belongs!

Take er easy!

I took the insurance except fire and theft off and switched the plate to the Corolla. This was the cheapest way to do things. I know I did things a little early but I wanted to get the Corolla insured plated and inspected and rolling with new tires before the rush and long waits for mechanics when the bad weather actually hits. This is the 1st experience with switching to a winter car. The deal with my wife was to do things as cheap as possible. and not pay for insuring and registering 2 cars at once. Hope this makes sense.

That's trouble in the making!!! Been there, done that, know how it turns out, you'll be driving the PT for a little longer.

hey maybe use this time to do a few thing to the car that you couldn't do when driving it every day--Id love a chance at a closed garage and my not needing my car for a few months Id have the seats out and every thing cleaned detailed waxed polished and looking good but that is a lot of work so might not be what you want to do( not in any way saying your does not look good just saying for me it would b a good thing)
