Default Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhh!

I was driving down the highway the other day, when a truck in the lane next to me and ahead of me drove through what I thought was water, spraying it all over my car. (that would have been bad enough)
I made the mistake of turning on my wipers, and had to pull over to a service station to clean my windshield... it was apparently OIL!
I had to scrub the car and rinse at least a dozen times before re-waxing.

Dang it! That's horrible!!! Shoots, I park my car where construction is happening on campus...and my car is covered by "construction soot".

It's ridiculous...I gotta wash my baby...but I am glad I waxed it b4 the film covered it!

Where CAN you drive where there is NO construction. I had the same thing with a pile of cement a truck dropped about a pail full at a light (No construction) and I drove thru it, what a mess under the car. Couldn't remove it!

Construction is everywhere and the messes created are hard to avoid. But that must have been a pain to clean off the car, did it eventually all come off or leave it's mark?

Worse than that, I once drove my PT (when it was new) threw a large puddle of yellow paint that apparently dropped off a truck. Took me weeks to get all that off and I still have yellow in the groves of the tires thousands of miles later when I upgraded to 17 inch wheels and had to buy new rubber.

over the summer they were doing work on a bridge replacing the cement, well as you would go under the road above you it was like a waterfall of water (curing the cement) well the car would be soaked with cement colored water by the time i got home the car was covered in a white/gray crap all over it , i made about half a dozen calls one women tells me "oh just was it off" !! , i got the name of the construction company they sent me a check for 75.00 a few days later no more water pouring down !! they did a story in the local paper about it, they said they had sent out over 100 checks to anyone that called them to complain
