Well fellas, I got what I wanted!

I went to the dealer this morning, and immediately asked about any diagnostic fees. He said that its covered under the warranty.

I made a claim about the motor mounts, and some noise while turning.

They noted that down for the mechanic, and included a free 23 point inspection of the vehicle.

after awhile of watching morning news in their waiting room

They claimed the motor mounts were fine, and they found my lower control arms were bad.

They said they would replace both my control arms under warranty and have the car aligned.

I got my car today at 5:45 and I was good to go!

$106, for a pretty expensive parts and job, NOT bad!

Good on you,

Glad to see that they found an issue that was covered by your service contract. I still have that nagging issue if they had spent say an hour on your ride and found nothing. In my just udner 10 years as a Chrysler Service Manager--never did Chrysler pay for "hey, look at my car--it is almost out of warranty" inspections. They don't do it under the basic warranty and they did not do it under any service contract.

I am very happy that you got the repair that was needed and at the correct charges.

Congrats!
