Well, had my interview with the New York Times guy. Spoke with him for about half an hour. General questions about why I bought the PT, about clubs, modifications and overall popularity of the cruiser.

He said it will be in a special section on CARS at the end of October but couldn't say exactly when. He'll try and give me a call when it's coming out.

I think my neighbor get the Times so I'll keep bugging him to keep an eye out about that time.

I want to thank everyone for their imput on checking codes. Code was retrieve and repair in less than 24hrs. P0340 which everyone knows is the camshaft position sensor. I want to thank Crewzin for the info on checking the wire harness first before replacing the sensor. Wires were fine except for very brittle plastic wire sleeves which it thought should be better insulated from the heat. I am looking forward to chatting with most of you. Crewzin, good luck with the New York Times, I will be looking more information on it.

UPDATE:

Well, the New York Times photographer was just here. He came at 11am and left at 4:30pm. The Times said they only wanted 3 pictures, the guy took 320 pictures. The car, the garage, me, me and the car. Then we went to some empty land I knew about and he took more pictures of the car and me and me & the car. What a day. He said he has to look them all over and send the best to the Times and he'll send me an email with all of the ones he picked.

Still no word except it's coming out at the end of the month.
