Engine Oil Linght On and Power Steering Leaking

Engine oil light was on during the start this afternoon. I stopped the car and restarted again and the light disappeared. Any suggestion what problems could be? The car runs ok right now, but the light really bothered me.

"Check engine" was also on two weeks ago due to slow purge solenoid valve (as identified by the code of P0441) and it has been repaired. I was also told by the shop that the power steering was leaking. They quoted for a total $750 for repair. But I did not feel any problems to steer my car so far. Do I need to replace the power steering system? Is the price reasonable? What typical parts need to be replace? Can I just simply refill the power steering fluid?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry nobody has responded to your questions so far.

I'd forget about the oil light until it repeats itself. One time doesn't prove anything.

On your second bit of trouble, I'd take it to other places to see what they say and get a couple of estimates. Was it the dealer that found the problem? If so, they would rather replace the whole steering rack that a single part so get some other estimates.
