DOOR LOCK PROBLEM

Okay so here is the deal, I go out to open my doors the other day and the back doors unlock but both front doors do nothing. I put the key in, turn it and the lock rod goes up but when I let the key return to the center it drops back down. I have to hold the key to the left and push the button and the door opens. If I push the door lock button inside, the back doors open, but the front doors do nothing. I checked the fuses, and they are fine, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on.

I was thinking maybe the locks died, but two doors die at the same time is almost unheard of. It is very frustrating to have to hold the key to the left and push the button every morning.

Just an additional note, I had a remote start installed about a month before this happened, but it seems to work fine, and it unlocks the back doors remotely, so I don't think that had anything to do with it.

Sorry about the super long post, but I need some help before I take it to the dealership.

Sounds like a short in the door locking wires to me.
If you hit the un-lock button two times will the back and passenger doors un-lock and stay that way, or will they go back to locked also?
You my want to check on the forum PTCrew.com - Learn it or Burn it., they have a number of persons that have a lot of auto electronics experience.

You might not think so, but I'd be taking it back to whoever messed around with the wiring and have them fix it.

Take it back to the last person who messed with the alarm. It doesn't sound like the problem is mechanical. Based on your description, it sounds like the front doors are being held in the lock position by the actuators.
