Hi, we have a 2000 Touring Edition.
The fan speed controller will only work on the fastest speed setting whether it is on the A/C or ventilation setting on the dial. Any advice will be most welcome

Could be either the speed selector switch or the resistor block located in the HVAC airbox. The resistor is most likely. It is pretty easy to replace, accessible from under the cowl in front of the windshield.
Do you have a voltmeter and a wiring diagram available to make a few tests? Last edited by N2IXK; 06 Oct 2008 at 08:04 am. |

All is now fine, the car has fixed itself?! I guess it may be an intermittant fault so i will have to wait and see if it gets worse! thanks.
