This truck was pretty low to the ground. I did look at the reinforcement styrofoam, and it is ok. It would have made a good time to upgrade, but it was more of a hassle that it was worth.

that sucks glad your PT is ok, that happened to me not even a week after I had my PT Cruiser someone backed into me and scraped the top of my front bumper.

I was pissed to come out in the morning and find a huge scrap in the top front of my bumper. Basically whom ever it was took the paint off, I used touch up paint and Langka Paint Chip Repair to fix it then after using their blob remover I cleaned and waxed the spot. I did a pretty good job but still I can see where the scratch was, sucks when it happens.

Tell me about it. The bumper on my PT is just the unpainted gray one, so it's not noticeable at all.

Unless its a bad one, I try to see small fender benders as opportunities to upgrade! Maybe you've been wanting a Crusher front end for your PT, but never had the money. Some poor guy accidentally back into you, and your faced with the opportunity to maybe pay the difference over a stock one, get paint for free since they were gonna repaint the other one anyways, and bam, went from trajedy to Cruising in style in a heartbeat!

My wife totalled our saturn wagon I wasn't mad at her....at least not to her face. But we got a very fair payout and I added some money and got the PT...quite an upgrade. Now if she totals the PT I'm getting a corvette

Now that is the way to go. I'm not letting go of my vette unless I really have to, and I'm sure there are ways around it.
