Default Fiberglass body

I am wondering if anyone has run across a fiberglass or composite body shell for the PT. I'd assume this would be made for racing of some kind. I'm talking about a complete body shell not just some add on kit.

I've looked but have yet to see anything other than fenders, spoilers and hood type stuff.

Thanks

Dave

Cool Re: Fiberglass body

Hey Dave,

The only all fiberglass body shell I know of is the one from the Roadster from PTeazer. Here is a link for more info.

PTEAZER - Your Source For PT Cruiser Parts, PT Cruiser Conversions, PT Cruiser Modifications, PT Cruiser Aftermarket Parts, PT Cruiser Accessories and Panel Conversions.

Ray (The owner) is a bit pricey, but he does a lot of fiberglass work, and has all the molds, so he is probably your best bet.

Take it easy,

ARGH !!! it won't connect

I think I've seen his front ends and they are what got me going on this.

What I am looking at doing is a a/c electric powered ~250hp (they claim more) sort of a modern so-cal Woodie.

Thanks for the link I'll keep trying.

Here is a vid on the Roadster from old Ray himself.:

As far as I know, this is the only all fiberglass body in existance that is on the market. Their are a couple of drag PT's that have one piece lift off front ends, but I know of at least two that fabricated a tube frame, and bolted the body work to it, so it was all custom. Anyways, let me know if you need any more help!

Take it easy!

Thanks again. I might have to rethink this a bit. I'm surprised he didn't do a
body for a panel van but I guess in Florida when it isn't windy it gets sunny.
That is the look I would like to have though. When I can connect I'll have a look at his front end and other kits and see what that will get me.

At 32K that's going to be a wee bit hard to get past the bank (aka wife) I'm afraid it will end up more along the lines of here is a two pack of Duracell's and here is a nice new roll of duct tape.
