Why not HHR? It's retro. It's gets fantastic gas mileage. It's a smooth ride. Lots of interior room for carrying stuff. Why PT?

Why post here and not a HHR forum? Ok ok...
I considered a HHR awhile back til I actually sat in one....cramped, narrow, door glass is against my left shoulder, had to recline the seat back like some wannabe gangster in his Honda to clear the headliner. No way. Take away my PT and I will NOT get a HHR.

I drove one and hated the visibility. I'm only six feet tall, but with the layout, I coudn't see most stoplights when I pulled up to the light, unless I leaned the seat back and looked out the sunroof!

I feel that the 2006 and 2007 HHR's had way too many problems. Not sure they've fixed all the problems with the 2008. Mostly electrical issues.

Hey vtmdsm27,

The PT is the original! The HHR is the knock off! That's my take on it!

Price. I paid cash for the pt, given it's not new, and I needed something to drive to work.

HHR looks like it was made out of legos.

I'll stick with my PT.

I like the HHR but as someone already stated, the wife and I got in it and were almost touching shoulders. It's cramped.

Sorry, but I think the HHRs are a horribly designed knock-off, clone, copy of the PT. It just doesn't cut it...ew.

It's not retro enough...it's a mid-grade, somewhere between retro and modern, but not enough style for either. Just my two cents...
