Rear hatch sensor on-off sporatically
My hatch sensor light goes on for no appearant reason. I have to slam the hatch HARD to get the sensor to register "closed". then some time later, minutes, hours, days, what ever, it will light again even without having ever opened the hatch. I tried to disconnect the switch but it registered open and never went out. I am sure the slamming will eventually do damage to the hatch. Is the switch bad or does it need adjusting? I can't see any way to adjust it. ( that is if I actually found the correct switch. It's the only thing at the latch with power) HELP!!!
