Where can i buy special tools for the pt cruiser? I need the tools for changing the lower control arm bushings.

Figure out what you need, then go to AutoZone or PepBoys or Advanced Auto Parts.
I think you may need a press for the bushings, I have no clue where you could get that. Let us know what you find out.

well,if I didn't live in Norway that would be awesome
So guess I'll have to buy the tools. But thanks for the help. I got the old bushings out from the control arm, but pressing in the new (vertical) ones are a pain in the a*#. And believe it or not, the local mechanic will charge me 928 USD to change both vertical bushings. Not gonna happen! |
