I got 2 flat tires

I was driving and I hit a curb that was in the middle of the road and blew out both my passenger side tires. The tow truck brought my car to the shop and they said not only will I need 2 new tires but I will need 1 new front rim. This sucks...how much should I be expected to pay for my 2003 PT cruiser to get back on the road?

Do you have chrome rims? If so, a new one of the Chrysler 6 spokes runs about $600. And a tire is around $100-$150, depending on what you have.

Why don't you look on the bay for a wheel/tire upgrade. It might cost you the same as to buying an OEM wheel and two tires, and you will get a new look on the car.

Same thing happened to me, except I needed two wheels and one tire. If you have the chrome wheel try, Colorado Wheel Company 1-888-577-6564, I got excellence service and chrome 17" wheels for $295 free shipping... Other wheels are at this site are alot cheaper.. than e-bay.

I went on Craig's List and got a set of 4 16" 5 spoke painted alloy wheels for $200 with std rubber (Badyear LS). I saw several singles with std rubber as well.
Did you have Road Hazard warranty on the tires/ If so they should cover the new rubber.
Curb in the middle of the road? File a claim with State, County, City Dept of Transportation or Hiway Maint. if it was a section of concrete curb that was displaced. Chances are they will pay for the wheel. It's their highway, they are obligated to maintain it. (Cal Trans, NYDOT, PennDOT, VA DOT all will pay something in 6 months or so...hey it's there so take advantage of it).
