The noise could mean a steering component is seized up making the pump work harder, the noise could 'go away" at high speeds because you have a "vert and thus road noise is louder. or, it could be normal and the only reason you can hear it in yours is what I listed above. As long as there is no loss of power during steering (meaning if you wheel becomes hard to turn) I would not be worried.

I will look into other components. It only makes noise standing still and if I am rolling at 1 mile an hr. it stops. The dealer said if they put it on the lift it wouldn't make the noise either because there would be no weight on the front end. When my factory warranty expires in about a year I will be getting an aftermarket warranty for this exact reason, lol.

Well, i am here to tell you that that is normal, The only reason you hear the noise when your car isn't moving is because the power steering pump is under more load to turn the wheels, once they are rolling, there is much less resistance, some sort of physics apply here I am sure,
