2006 liftgate handle question

As I understand it, the 2006 and up have an electronic button inside the chrysler wing logo on the back that you squeeze to open the liftgate, assuming it's already unlocked. Is that correct?

That happened to mine, it was covered by warranty, had 40K+ miles on it. No deductible.

Actually, started with 2005s.
Mine has it. (So does wife's 2003 Town & Country van).

I'm guessing that you read into my question the issue I'm having then. The PT we just bought (still under the 3/36 warranty) that switch doesn't work, it looks like the electronics have actually come unattached from the handle itself, you can see it hanging in there behind the handle, but it doesn't work at all.
