Question Problems with icy weather-broken car!

Hi all,
I'm new here.
I live in the UK and have a 2001 PT cruiser 2.0 Classic.
Yesterday was very icy, I got in the car and started her up, turned the windscreen wipers on and the blowers, pulled the stalk for screen wash and at that point, the windscreen wipers, the indicators and the rear wiper all stopped working. Obviously the rear wiper is on a separate switch. The screen wash wont come out either. If I put the hazards on, they work. The heated back window works. The folding heated mirrors still work, interior lights and headlights all still working. Just the wipers front and rear, indicators and screen wash jets not working. I have recently replaced the stalk as the indiators stopped working but the wipers and jets all worked. Have had the new stalk in probably around 3 months.

Have I blown a fuse or 2 or something more sinister?
Any help will be greatfully recieved.
Thanks in advance.

Just realised most people here are from the USA, you probably do know but just incase, indicators in the UK = Blinkers/turn signals in the USA.
Thanks again

I would first check the fuse box and also the relay for the wipers

Manual should say which fuse is for what (at least for most of them). If not, you can get one of those little fuse testers and check each one while in situ.

I am guessing that they weren't "STUCK" to the windshield???? that could have messed up the little motor--also on my PT if it is nasty cold I usually put some different washer solution in the car something that will not freeze as quickly as some. it is a small hose and will freeze real easy
