Sad nite on Tonight show

Comedian Wanda Sykes was just on Jay Lenos show talking about the Bail out with the american auto workers...she said the US has to stop building crappy cars like the PT cruiser....and Jay Leno agreed with her. That hurts....Is that what people think about our beloved Pts??It seems people either love or hate the PT...there is no inbetween..Some people I know have laughed when they here at work I drive a PT.

I saw if they want to laugh, let them! Once upon a time the VW was designed as a cheep form of transportation, but if you see an old Oval, or Split window Bug, or a 21 Window Micro Bus cruising down the road, I'll bet not too many people are laughing at it!

In fact, I remember a couple years ago, right here in my hometown their was a good sized car show, and afterward a Cruise Night downtown which was mainly made up of way cool old school low riders, and rat rods! I bumped into another Cruiser that lives here, at the show, and afterward we decided to go crash the Cruise Night. Well, they kinda laughed a little until it got dark, and I cranked up my TV's, and bumped my system, and my buddy cranked his 8 TV's, and light show, and within about 20 minutes everyone was all over our PT's! Then the low riders stated getting jealous of our little Cruisers taking over the entire show, and decided to Cruise around our PT's bumping the hydrolic's hopping, and just having a way cool time for all the rest of the night! And boy, let me tell you, their was no one laughing at PT's the rest of that night!

I really don't care what anyone says, I have made so many cool friends, and had so much fun with my PT, and their ain't nothing in the world that can replace that for me!

Jay Leno's days on "Tonight" are numbered too, I read yesterday.. And pretty soon some late night comedian will be making fun of Jay too!

Actually I think ole jay is moving to the 9:00pm slot to give a whole new aduiance a chance to see what it is he does

I agree that I have huge respect for Jay and his knowledge of cars...and I guess if you compare a PT to a Duesenberg then the Chrysler does pale by comparison. I am still surprised at him dumping on particular model like that unless he was just going along with the joke.

Wanda Sykes on the other hand can carry her loud month butt to Korea and ride a freakin scooter until her butt crack splits wider than her flapping jaws.
