Default IS IT WORTH $6K??

Ok- Real decision time/ I'll run the comparisons- My PT'03 Patriot blue Touring-non turbo with the tuned factory package which includes Chrome-sides-rales-front grill & fuel tank & skids inside with words PT Cruiser on it & 6CD-player all factory bought new & garaged with 65K mile.....(cloth seats) **** possible trade for**** '04 GT PT auto Turbo with all wheel disc brakes-17inch wheels-heated leather seats (black)front & side airbags-radio has both cassete & 1 CD disc-(no big deal here),rear deck spoiler but only 33K miles(7-&70k waranty left,,in service 10/2004)-(30K less miles than mine- Midnite blue-(not sure what difference is) same chrome package...... THEY want $11300-will give me $5300-$6K decision??? Are those upgrade and less miles & one year newer worth 6K?????*** I dont know history but drove car & other than the KHUMO tires it seemed ok..... (I dont think the #'s will change-window stick in glove box-$27K when new- (my window stick was $22k) looking for al thoughts & ideas from those that have had both & those that know both vehicles.( I can afford the $$ but want a good deal & dont want to buy new....with the fun factory-I really like the PT look) Thanks again..................MJB

So, '04 GT w/33,000 miles, leather, for $11,300? Sunroof? That's high, IMO.
Yours, '03 Touring w/chrome package and 63,000 miles?
If they give you $6,000 for yours, it's not too bad a deal.

The GT requires premium gas - prices Will go up again - but the GT is a blast to drive.

You won't regret it.

The Turbo is a blast!

I purchased my '04 GT with 27,000km (17,000 miles) a year ago for $11,500 (Canadian funds). So if you are state side sounds a little high as prices are higher here with exchange rate.

I dont think the price is too high. In February of 2008, I paid $12,000 for an 04 Limited Edition Turbo Lite with auto, leather, sunroof, platinum chrome package, chrome wheels and satellite radio. It had 36,000 miles then. Your potential car sounds similar but is a GT and they want less money for it. I think it sounds like a good price.
