My first mod will be on Friday when I am having the factory antenna put on the car, since these stupid shorty ones keep falling off. They look cute but what a pain in the ass.

Perhaps mine were crappy (I didnt buy either of them--one was on the car when I bought it and the other was put on after an accident) but both of them acted the same, as if the post were stripped. I was tightening it weekly--and then the next week it would be loose again. The whole thing (including the assembly below the fender) is being replaced by the body shop who did the replacement in August. I cant tighten anything--it fell off along a freeway someplace. They offered to get another shorty one, but I figured it would be more of the same, so back to the factory one I go.
